This game is better on the DS. It must have less cuss words in this one then on the xbox, gamecube and ps2 versions.+ this one has no throat slit sound effeccts and there are no voices besides guards saying thing like "who's there?" but there is a message in place of everybody's voice except guards until they talk together but after that when there not talking to each other back to voice. Sorry for the long statment.

Good game , but has a large amount of language. The words d--m and h--l are used a lot by your teamates, and the words s--t and ba---rd are used a lot by the bad guys. There is also a good deal of violence, but the blood isn't as mush as you would think in a M-rated game. The knife makes some gross sound effects, but there is no blood when you use it.As they said in the review the graphics in this game are amazing. The shadows and light are fantastic. And the sound is great. An example is in the first level of the game, when you are inside the cave, you can hear the guards voices echo through the cave.
One of the problems in this this is that sam looks realy goofy in this game. another problem is that it feels a little like some of your enemies are blind. Like if an area is just a little dark, they will walk right past you. I don't know if its only on normal or if its on hard to. Out of ten, i give this game a 9.3. Turning sound off is ok because when your teamates talk, you can read what they say, and the blood only comes out in little spurts, and it does not stain anything. .I think anyone 13 and older should be able to play this.

In terms of pure gameplay, this game is nothing short of a masterpiece. However, language and stealth violence may be a turnoff to Christian gamers.

If you like sneakyness this is the game for you. Great gameplay, incredible graphics (for xbox), and good story line. With the knife though it does get an M rated. Also more language than the other two splinter cells. Fun game. 14+
