Or if you want a silent hill/resident evil water down, go play Alan Wake if you can handle the language and other stuff, although it's enemy placement isn't as good as silent hill or resident evil, and is often pretty predictable and not scary…it's still fun (psh, and this is coming from somebody who doesn't even OWN a 360, but alan wake looks really fun from the gameplay I've seen)

Not having played the game, I can simply say that if you want a less violent, out-of-you-mind scare fest, go play a Silent Hill game. That said, less violent does NOT mean less bloody; you simply don't kill humans in graphic ways.

We can't. We have to be perfect, and strive to do so, but this game, as violent as it is, even has a message.
We're ONLY humans, we're not bulletproof, we can't take everything the world throws at us without help.

I agree with you 50/50, Brandon.
But call of duty black ops, just from as gory as I've heard it is, I think should get the AO rating. I seriously wonder how snake eater got intense violence, but black ops did not.

man, this is the scariest game ive ever played. the atmosphere in it is uncomparable. sure, the game is brutal and violent, but remember, you are fighting in self defense. you are not killing for the sake of killing. the game does a great job of giving you the fact that you ARE agent thomas. i really think that that is why the game is so scary. for people who are scared easily, squeamish, or have a serious heart condition, do not play this game. for those who loke psychological horror, this game will push you to your limit

Me too. Although i'm not against violence in games, Gratitous violence is certainly not something i want to condone, especialy considering that Jesus is watching me play them. Just remember that it's all about Him, so if tells me to stop playing, i will.
