Great fairies in OoT aren't pretty like a fairy is supposed to be...and I dunno about this one, never really looked at her, but she only wears a skirt, her hair covers everything else.

That extremely disturbing scene where Link went half-crazy, ran to the triforce, and Ilia had copies of herself and they all fell down endlessly? It seemed more dumb than disturbing to me.

Those "screaming skeleton things" are redeads, I don't care if they don't look as scary in this game, I still hate 'em.

Having the concept of other gods in a fantasy or mythological world is just fine. It doesn't do anything to one's moral judgment. No one's going to worship a false god unless they're really stupid.

As always, this is a very well-done and enjoyable Zelda game, and can be pretty funny in some spots.
This game does have some pretty nasty dark parts though, especially referencing that extremely disturbing scene with Link and Ilia...
It's not quite as dark as "Majora's Mask", but still has its scary and questionable moments.
One objectionable thing that some may have noticed was a quote by Zelda, saying something to the effect of "Light and darkness are two sides of the same coin. One cannot exist without the other". This is a "yin-yang" approach that we as Christians should know to be flawed, as light certainly can exist without darkness. I felt burdened to mention it because it's mentioned in a way that probably would have flown over peoples' heads.
On the positive note, there are many good themes of sacrifice, friendship, heroism, and selflessness.
As always, if played by a child (physically or spiritually), I'd suggest careful supervision and commentary.
