I finally beat Sora's story last night! It had a good ending and answered a few questions in the series.

Actually, Namine's not actually a witch. She's sort of the nobody of Kairi, Sora, and Riku, which is how she can alter their memories.

This is fun, but so hard towards the end. (I think) I'm on the last boss as Sora, but I can't beat him.

Why did they even bother putting in the card thing? It would have been better if they left it out.

technically, white's not a color, and neither is black. one is eternal nothingness, the other is eternal darkness. that's why In Kingdom Hearts II the Heartless (darkness) are mostly black and the Nobodies (nothingness) are mostly white. while the two forces oppose against each other, Sora and his friends (eternal light) oppose against those two evil forces. NOBODY wants to be stuck in nothing forever, and nobody wants to be stuck in darkness forever. of course too much light would drive us all crazy as well. that is why we have an even balance of the three. there are A LOT of spiritual references in the Kingdom Hearts games. you see in KH2 when a person dies or is killed by heartless it is because the heartless (darkness) came and took over their heart and devoured it. in other words, they were corrupted by darkness. and as we all know, darkness will always try to corrupt us. and so some people fight the darkness. however, when strong hearted people fight the darkness and are still killed, they leave behind an empty shell known as a Nobody. Nobodies can be considered ghosts in our world. they travel in the "nothingness" and the area that connects The World That Never Was to the fake Twilight Town, which is called "Betwixt and Between" Betwixt means: neither the one nor the other; in a middle or unresolved position. Therefore we can easily see the "nothingness" that Nobodies travel in as the "other side" or "purgatory" in our world, in which the ghosts of unfinished business or undecided placement continue to roam. Light and darkness (heaven and hell) are both eternal, however nothingness (purgatory) is not. eventually the spirit must be sent to one, or the other. however, we cannot have light without darkness, and we cannot have darkness without light. so it is not necessarily the light and darkness that are good or bad but rather it's inhabitants. like Riku said in KH2, "it's not the darkness we fear, it's who's lurking inside it." In our beliefs we can easily translate that as not being afraid of the darkness itself but rather the ghosts and demons who wander in it, and in the ultimate darkness (hell) satan himself. we can also see Ansem The Wise ans an allegory for God or Jesus (much like Aslan was in the Chronicles of Narnia) and Xemnas as an allegory for satan. when Xemnas said to Ansem "you are the source of all heartless, it was your research that inspired me to go further than you ever dared." we can easily see satan talking to God and reminding him of how God created this planet and how satan tricked Adam & Eve, as God himself did not create sin (heartless) he created the tools necessary to discover sin such as the forbidden fruit (research) and then satan took advantage of this and decide to "go further than you (God) ever dared" you see? Also when Ansem said to Xenmas "I'm afraid any world that you try to create will be a world of failure and ignorance." That being said satan did not create earth but has technically re-created it through man by works of evil and corruption. and inevitably this world is now filled with ignorance and failure. another spiritual example is Riku. at the end of Chain of Memories Ansem says to Riku "which path will you take? the road to light? or the road to dark?" to which Riku responds "neither, I'm taking the middle road." Ansem then asks " you mean the twilight road to nightfall?" Riku says "no, it's the road to dawn." we see this in the sense that Riku turned his back on the light and joined the dark side in KH1. after coming upon a few self realizations in Chain of Memories he realizes he was wrong and wants to come back to the light (get right with God) again. However, he is unwilling to let go of some of the things (in our world, beliefs and material possessions) that caused him to turn to the darkness in the first place. we call this the "middle road" in our world. it is when a person is trying to get right with God again but is not yet willing to let go of some of their old ways. In Riku's case means "starting towards light, but not quite there yet." as after dawn it becomes daytime and then light shines. Notice how near the end of KH2 Riku tried to open a portal to get them out but his dark powers didn't work anymore. He had fully lost his darkness and was right with the light (God) once again. As King Mickey Said "you don't belong in the dark realm anymore Riku." Remember how Riku said Ansem told him to go and get Roxas and he lost against him the first time? well in the KH2 FM+ it shows Riku letting the darkness take control of him again so he could beat Roxas and bring him to Ansem The Wise (currently disguised as DiZ). He did not wnat to see Sora after this because he was ashamed of what he had became. We as humans attempt to get back on the right path a lot. and when we are on the right path again and we fall back into old habits we become ashamed and try to hide it from our friends and family. The last example of hidden spirituality in Kingdom Hearts I will give is the "friends in my heart" one. have you ever had a bad feeling involving a friend or family member that came true? or maybe someone close to you was feeling upset and you could almost feel their pain? One of God's fruitful gifts to us is the gift of Empathy. People who have this gift are known as Empaths. a lot of Christians with false information will tell you it's all devil worship lies. However I have Christian friends who have been granted gifts from God. There is the gift of discernment of spirits, and the natural ability of intuition, and the skillful use of a discernment process. There is the gift of healing, and there are the natural healing processes and the medical skills to assist those processes. There is exorcism, and there are people able to rid their lives of those who use lies and trickery, and the skill of making themselves more true. There is prophecy, and there is the ability to discover the truth and and the skill to figure out how and when to share it. There is ecstatic spiritual experience, and there are romance and desire, and the skills to use them to create bonds of love with your spouse. There is the gift of empathy where you can feel the emotions of those around you. and There are the gifts of visions and insight, which go hand and hand with the gift of Spiritual Discernment. Kingdom Hearts displays the gifts of empathy, intuition, and prophecy quite a bit. and that's you lesson for the day. lol.

Kingdom Hearts truly is an amazing series with plenty of great messages and great fun. I seriously doubt that Square Enix would do anything very controversial with KH that it might do with other games because of the series' close ties with Disney... So, a T-rated Kingdom Hearts? Unlikely.

good job Square. Kingdom Hearts actually had no blood at all, until KH2, when Pirates of the Carribean was introduced (I believe there was a scene in which Will Turner threatened to kill himself and pointed a pistol to his head. Also, barbossa drinks alcohol, and there's some blood near the chest when he is shot.) other than that, everything else is ok. Kingdom Hearts II got an E-10 rating when it came out. I wonder if future installments can stay at T or below.
