If you haven't noticed, those bullies are usually what causes the ones that are picked on to go zerk on people and schools. I don't agree that games always "teach" kids to do this and that, but I do believe it can harbor and fester up inclinations a person may have already and perhaps act on them.

I know, but it makes the game more challenging, at least on your second playthrough. ;)

But hey, I just wanted to give this game some good criticism. Cause all you hear about Bully is negative, while this is one of the best games ever made, and really no Bully/Columbine sim or something in that category. That's all I wanted to say, while also talking about the negative parts so that parents/kids whatever can deside if they buy it. :)

And also, Ano, get a life. "something I somethimes did and now always do, I let the cops get me if I do something wrong" the whole point of the game is to not get busted, so the idea is to run away.

Omg, not being funny, but this game is legendary. The game is about fighting off bullies, you don't always have to fight, you can apologise, so it's not all bad. And, the girls in the game are all clothed, one girl has tights on but that is it. Also, it's not like you only beat up people, you also attend classes and go to the fair. You can kiss girls but that is to gain extra health. So i have this game and i reccomend that everyone buys it.

Sorry, forgot to say about something offensive: Some girls are really bad clothet, especcialy the ones coming from the low classes. And there's one mission when jimmy takes a picture of a showering girl, to win the ''nerds'' they'r respect. Nothing is shown though, and a couple missions later jimmy finally see's it's bad what he does, and tries to make it right.

Oh, and besides. I read here that you can give wedgies and hurt people's arms. Well, i'm in my second play-trough and I just discoverd it trough reading this here. Bully ain't about doing that! It's about having fun, racing, going to a fair, discovering stuff, try to ride your bike safely so you don't have cops after you etcetera. Also, something I somethimes did and now always do, I let the cops get me if I do something wrong. Cuz then Jimmy deserved to be busted. The rest I said in my other post.

I hate all games with violence and stuff, but I love Bully. It's all about standing up for whats right. Why, Jimmy doesn't alway's uses the right methodes (for wich he's punished, and imo, they definatly show it's wrong. Especially in the end) but he has a hart of gold. Bith rough though :P Only thing I was offended by, is the bad language of some students and the kissing. Bullying is something you can also skip, and it's not rewarding, so if you don't like it you don't do it. The violence is more like the old Bud Spencer and Terence Hill movies, a lot of punching, but in a comic way with no deaths or hospital visits. Still, there are some things in this game a christian would rather skip, but it's not as bad as there was said. Bully's just a plain old fun game, with lots of choices, freedom and things to do. And when you follow the story line, it's a interactive movie about a kid who wants to defend the one's that are bullied and himself, but just doesn't know how to do that at the right way due to lack of love from his parents and lack of knowledge of the almighty G.D, the one who say's you must turn you'r other cheek.

If you parents really think this game is bad than you've never played video games before its not like your running around shooting people with shotguns which is a lot more fun but all you are doing is running around punching bullies in the arm and giving nerds wedgies and there is alot worse things than that on television so if you really think keeping your child away from the everyday world than they will only grow up anti-social and afraid of the world which makes sense because newsflash the worlds scary, no one will protect you when your on your own so you need to be able to make decisions which this game is all about makeing the right decision stand up to the bullies and keep the rest of the school under control

This teaches kids to bully and hurt and I think it is ALOT more resalistic than GTA.

Bully does what most people have always wanted to do: Become the scourge of all authority.
