I believe that God has standards. And if you have received Jesus Christ as Lord and savior, we’re all in different places in our walks with God. He knows the things we can handle, and the things we can’t. If God asked me, “are you fleeing all sexual immorality by allowing this meaningless worldly entertainment system to influence you? Are you seeking my face or you seeking your own desires by playing this game?” I would have to answer “no, I’m not; no I’m not seeking you through this” to God. So there are absolute laws, and then there are charges which we need seek God about. That doesn’t mean that we can obey some laws, and disregard others having a license for sin. No we must take and believe the full account of the Word of God. The Bible tells us that we will be known by our faith and our works. So if we do everything just as the world does, how are we living differently through applying faith and works according to the Bible? I hope that this helps some in answering your question, but I would advise you to ask Silverdragon’s (the leader of guide2games) opinion according to the Bible on this matter as he is more advanced then me.

So what’s the bottom-line? Is it okay to play the game or not? Well in 1st Corinthians chapter 6 we are told to flee all sexual immorality. We’re told that things are permissible, but not everything is beneficial. So I would encourage you to read the Holy Bible for yourself. See the words, the laws and know. I encourage you to pray seeking God’s heart for this matter. Ask God, “Father God, even with pure intentions of the heart, is this something you want me to abstain from?”

I have more to say.

What is the intention of your heart? God sees and knows everything. He knows the desire of your heart. So God knows if the intention is to play that video game and see the content in it and lust, or if the intention is innocent. For instance, how about movie reviewers for this Christian website? They view the worst of the worst that comes out of the movie industry, but not to view it to satisfy their evil desires, but to review it so others can be warned to make righteous decisions about what they put in front of their eyes and into their minds. That does not justify the content in the least. For instance if a person were to murder someone but didn’t have the intention to murder, it still doesn’t justify murdering the person. But God knows the intention, and there is salvation and forgiveness of sins through Christ Jesus’ blood.

Correct me if I’m wrong Follower of Christ, but from my interpretation of your post I believe you’re trying to ask if it is alright for Christians to play games with objectionable content, particularly games that have sensually immoral content or under currents. This is both a complex and simple topic among Christians. To truly understand we need to compare it with the Word of God. What does God have to say about the issue? Well to begin with familiar information, one of the Ten Commandments given to us by God is to not commit adultery. In paraphrasing Jesus in the New Testament says “if anyone looks upon a women and lusts in his heart he has committed adultery with her” Matthew 5:28. In James chapter one about half-way through it talks about how we are tempted by our own evil desires, and when our evil desires have conceived, they give birth to sin. A desire is a longing of the human heart. It is an intention wanting to be expressed, and its roots come from our hearts or even our flesh at times. Sometimes it is my heart desire to do evil because of my sin nature, or sometimes it is my flesh rising up against me. So why all of this information?

Just a quick question for a christian answer.
Alot of games have scantily wear with some characters but as christians we look down on this. i know that the game is making them look appealing to players but should we even think about it wrong while playing the game. God did have the intention of adam and eve not having to worry about wearing anything untill sin. So as RESPONSIBLE christian gamers if we just look over this factor (for some harder than others) would we be looked down upon by good as many will argue this is a sin.

This is not just directed at this game but at everyting that this can apply to.
Thanks

This is the greatest Star Wars game ever made (my opinion). I think this game is better than the first. Unfortunently, this game is, for lack of a better word, unfinnished. They were only given like 9 months to make the game.

There is very little blood. Even if you can't stand the sight of blood (or virtual blood), I think even you could ignore it. Most things that some people may find offencive to them can usually be avoided.

This game is one of the best I've ever played. There are sexual references, but no worse than middle school. I think that while there's unnecessary crudeness, the point is to not let it affect you. I place the blame on the ESRB for not noting the partial (but mild) nudity in their rating. I'm not saying the rating should be changed (I've seen much worse in T-rated games) , but this game, as well as KotOR 1, is inappropriate for people under 13. The game is otherwise OK by me.

The Bible does not teach pacifism, and if you can't reccemend games with violence how come you bought a game with so much combat?
