i played this game around that age and i found nothing wrong with it. i normaly avoid games withe blood and gore but this is one didnt seem to bad.

Well thought, but it was a good game. And er, the fact of all the times I've bled, the geo guts didn't even phase me. I've seen bugs squashed loads of times, and in my mind, fake bugs are no difference.

No one at ages ten or seven should play this game, I think. I will say this, though. Once you're like, 14 or 15, it's okay. I mean, even though the gore is not human gore, it's still black and white in most kids' minds at such a young age.

Great game. A note on the gore:
Geonosians are a hive mind. They're not sentient, and so not nearly humanoid in intelligence. So, as has been said, think of it as squashing an exceptionally obnoxious fly… carrying a gun.
Trandoshans, on the other hand, are sentient. They are also slavers, vile, and frankly quite nasty. So, that one's debatable, but really, there's never been a good Trandoshan in Star Wars.
Language is very mild.
Nothing sexual, nothing spiritual. No human-killing, you don't hunt down Jedi like in some of the Battlefront games.
Honestly, this is a very tame FPS. I see no problems for anyone 13+.

This game is a very good one. The cleanest FPS, with exception to Battlefront 2. I'm really glad the only things you kill are bugs and reptilian creatures and battle droids. It's not like you kill things that really have any particular humanoid qualities to them. I like shooter games where you don't kill people or obviously sentient creatures. So, I excuse the blood as permisable, if that's how you spell it. Either way, you get the point. Another cool feature is that it has no women like Cortana or worse in it. Cortana's quite, ehm, not appropriate. Also, the sheer personalities your squad emits are very fun to listen to. My favorite line is "Can you die later, sir? It just isn't a good time now." Love that black humor. Plus, I'd advise anyone who plays this game to read the books. There are five of 'em and a sixth coming out, all written by the same author, except for the sixth one. That's being written by somebody else, so we'll see if he's any good.

there is more than just a few cases of D*** they use Bloody (which i know is not a swear here, but its worse than D*** or H***) they also use H*** at least 4 times and one or two cases of S*** (they are basically whispers but are still there) i still think this game is great and is a lot less offensive than a lot of the games out there.
