I found this game freaking amazing. I played it on an HP G26 laptop, so i cant play it with the graphics on full, but it still looks good. I found the game both realistic and really over-the-top at the same time. All the smoke effects and bullet effects such as bullets taking chunks out of walls and such realistic, but at the same time the amount of blood and gore was way over the top. I found sometimes that when i shot an enemy that his head shot up really far but somehow stayed attached to his body. The story, i found, was one of the best Ive found in a MODERN FPS. today, most games like this go on cliche stories like: this guy is selling weapons, go shoot up his base and kill everything that moves (kay, probably not the best example but you get what i mean). i was genuinely creeped out at times. if you want to get the full effect of the game, play it alone in the dark...it gives you a whole new perspective. The AI in this game is the best iv'e ever encountered. All the random cutscenes are really good and sure to give some first time players a good scare. I dont get why people are complaining about the language, because i think that amount of language is realistic, because when puch comes to shove, we all would swear like that. If you do happen to have a problem wiht the language, though, just dont play the game

I don't care about the cussing. It makes it more realistic. Think about if you were in that kind of situation. Religious or not, a few foul words would slip out of your mouth. Granted, there probably shouldn't be as much as there is but there is nothing that can be done. You know, it's funny because you guys are worried about the language and not the graphic nature of this game. Guess what? It's rated "M" for a reason. If you don't like the language, then don't play the game.

Really? Seriously? Did you actually play this game? This game may not have occult supernatural as in satanic, but it does have pagan supernatural as in the main character is not only psychic but the antagonist are psychic, and one is very much revealed to be dead and reaching out from beyond the grave. So, I would say this game is not Christian in spirituality. I Agree with Peter. This game is spiritually demonic; just because it does not refer to satan by name does not mean that this game is any less demonic that games like Doom or Max Payne.
See satan goes by many games but the truth remains that we are in a spiritual war. Remember satan's number one talent is that he is a deceiver. He deceives, tricks, lies and tries to steal, kill and destroy. That means that sometimes satan comes in a different package other than the red suit, tail, horns and a pitchfork. Sometimes, satan comes in the form of a game like this rather than GTA or games that openly mock God, or openly mention & worship satan. Sometimes satan even comes in the form of games that make no reference to satan but nevertheless subtly mock God or reference satan by other names. Point is: Be careful!

And WAY TOO MUCH cussing! I played this game before I was saved and have lost interest in it since. Although this game has well done graphics, AI and gameplay, I would recommend that Christians stay way from this one. Leave it with the GTA series.

Wow...
Why in the name of Sam Hill do they need to cuss that much? I mean, it doesn't detract from the experience. Sierra entertainment needs to get their act together. If you are wanting to make a great game that many people can play, make the content as bearable as possible. Otherwise, you are going to lose the few of us that actually care of what we feed in our brains. Freggin' morons...

I am sorry, but this game is indeed the only game in history I have ever played that has the MOST amount of profanity. So much its ridiculous.

I am amazed that people boycott games for the most mild cussing, while not flinching about recommending games like this. Personally, I have no qualms playing GTA4, but I do have serious problems indulging in games with terrifying supernatural sequences. I advice any spiritually sensitive Christian to avoid this game.
