I actually heard that only a (relatively) small number of viewers experienced siezures; the rest reported seizure-like symptoms due to mass hysteria.

You know playing fantasy games doesn't necessarily mean you're spending less time with God or putting other things before Him.

I would like to encourage those that are into fantasy games to make a goal of spending at least as much time in prayer and in the Word, including meditating on scriptures. This might seem dry at first if you are not already doing it, so start with a few minutes a day, and build up. Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal things to you about what you read in the scriptures. Ask Him to give you ideas about how you can minister and/or witness to people, and/or other things that He would lead you to do to partner with Him in building up the Kingdom of God.

Jesus said that He came that you might have life, and have it ABUNDANTLY (John 10:10). He also said that He IS the LIFE (John 14:6). To me, life with Him is a wonderful adventure in reality. And He IS the adventure. It’s all about HIM. He will definitely make your life adventurous, if you will let Him. Ask Him.

I dare you.

So far, the only remotely legitimate arguments against pokemon were that it might possibly have a bad effect on impressionable little kids, but has it occurred to anyone that maybe it isn't really FOR impressionable little kids? Animes tend to have protagonists of the same age as their target audience, so what should it say when Pokemon lead characters are consistently 10 years old (or older, as in the upcoming Black and White versions)?

Not that little kids shouldn't play it, necessarily. If they're (relatively) mature enough not to go the wrong way with the series, let them at it, I guess. Can't really be any worse for them than Superman.

They knew about that reason too, they just chose not to believe the truth.
"The epileptic seizures were said to be caused by the incessant flashing lights in the cartoon overloading the optical nerves and inciting seizure; however, seizures can also be caused by demonic attack."
I've watched that episode by the way, and I didn't suffer a "demonic attack". lol (not to say the real thing's worth laughing at, it's only in this situation it's funny.)

Yeah. I laughed my head off when I read that.

By now, everyone knows the seizures were caused by the flashing 8-bit explosion in cyberspace on that one episode with Porygon.
