Spoilers

Of note, neither sword is good. In sc4 it is mentioned that Soul calibur was made from Soul edge by the same people. The swords are merely opposing, but not good and evil.

When you play arcade and go against Ivy, does she always dress in the leaf costume, or does it change? In SCII, characters would use different costumes during matches in arcade, so there'd be no guarantee of something suggestive.

I play this game with my 9-year-old brother all the time; I see nothing bad about it. He's too young to recognize throw moves like those of Voldo or Ivy as sexual, and enjoys playing as the zombie pirate Cervantes, who has the most violent moves in the game - stabbing opponents to throw them. It's all done very tastefully though. Well, as tasteful as a stabbing can be...

I wouldn't let him play something like Tekken 5 because of the language and such, but SCIII is a comparatively clean fighting game that anyone can enjoy with a clean conscience.

Agreed. The moves are suggestive. But sexual content is something that shows that women were trained to dress better. Compare this to Soul Calibur 4, Soul calibur 4 is definitely more sexual.

Also to note that some of the moves are suggestive. Particularly Cassandra and Sophitia's throw moves.
