lol, it's silly how this game got a 4/5 in the Christian rating because it has the force.

The force has more to do with eastern religions and stuff such as qi rather than Christianity.

The jedi vs sith isn't about good vs evil either, because both sides draw power from the 'force'

Saying this game is Christian would be like saying the good guys and bad guys both draw powers from god and/or satan.

"This kind of game is great to get for a little kid (under 12) instead of Halo 3. Great gameplay."

It's rated T for teens. So over 12.

The only language I ever heard was playing as the Clones in Capture the Flag mode, something like: "The enemy scored, d**n!"

Great for kids of all ages. Fun lasting gameplay. And who doesn't like a star wars theme? Although it is a great game, I have heard d*** many times and S*** I've only heard like 3 or 4 times, but they were all by the clone engineers. So don't stand next to them and this game is almost completely fine. Also the violence is pretty limited simply if you shoot someone many times they die and absolutely no blood. For kids 8-9+

A GREAT game. Definitely belongs up there with the first Battlefront, and Star Wars Battlefront: Renegade Squadron (A spin-off to the first two.) Safe for Christians of all ages to play. Very clean, very mild language. You hear the "D" once or twice in CTF (Capture the flag) mode, but other than that, it's safe for any kid to play, and is fun for even adults to play. I hope they make a third one...

I forgot to mention that half of the single-player campaign requires you to slaughter Jedi and innocent soldiers as the clone troopers turn into stormtroopers. You can also choose to be on the wrong side, such as the droids or the stormtroopers.

The game's rating is rated "T" for Violence and Mild Language. However, there is no profanity in the in-game campaign, only in the cutscenes (which can be skipped) and the capture-the-flag mode. Even in the cutscenes, I think the d-word was only used twice and the curse "h-ll" once. In-game, the profanity can be blocked by turning speech volume to 0%. That way, you can still enjoy the stellar sound effects and music!
The only other qualm I have with this game is that it has an multiplayer mode. In this mode, you can play with other players around the world, who will invariably use profanity. Unfortunately, there is no way to block their text messages (unless you tape a paper across a quarter of your screen!).
With no gore, blood, or dismemberment, Star Wars Battlefront II is one of the cleanest third-person shooters available. If you have issues with the profanity, I highly recommend the first game, Star Wars Battlefront, which has no bad language whatsoever.
