Call of Duty 4 is rated M for "Blood and Gore, Intense Violence, and Strong Language." I've played it at my friend's house, and it's got noticeably stronger content than the three games that preceded it. It's not a game I could, with good conscience, recommend to anyone my age.

Sorry to say that your #3 doesn't make much sense. The reason COD4 is M is because since the graphics improved, so did the blood. And, they're taking a more realistic approach, not to mention that it's modern times.
I wouldn't say that Halo 3's graphics are bad, but they really can't compare to Call of Duty 4.

I would not say that COD4 is better than halo.

1. you have to play halo 3 enough to understand the story for me it's real easy to understand.
2. the graphics are not awfull you might have played it on grandmas tv well I have a Vizio so the graphics look wonderful.
3. COD4 is fake halo is meant to be fake and why make the first three T and then make the fourth one and fifth one M it doesn't make sense.

@The Wampa King:

Here's my take on the Halo series, for what it's worth.

The graphics are not bad. You have to take in account the genre of the game, when it was released, and what engine they used to make the graphics. For a lighthearted science fiction shooter, Halo's graphics are very good. Of course, Bioshock is meant to have a creepier, deeper atmosphere, so the graphics look different (and probably are better due to the engine) but they don't surpass Halo by a whole lot, from how you put it.

The story of Halo, while not super creative, pulls from both mythology and the Bible itself. You'll find a LOT of biblical and mythological references in all 3 games. While the story isn't completely new, it does at least attempt to tell a story that you have to dig through to get satisfaction out of. People can really dig through Halo's story and find a lot of interesting references. However, playing the games without thinking about the references the games are making, I can see why you all think that the story is bad. It just takes a little digging. However, I personally am not a fan of the setup of the games, as it tends to be confusing. Bioshock definitely is better then Halo in the story department, being deeper and creepier, but Halo's tone and genre is completely different. It's like comparing apples and oranges.

And yes, the Halo games are overrated because Bungie marketed them SO MUCH. People decided they liked the game before they got them, they played them, they liked them, they told everyone how great it was and it just spiraled that way. The Halo series are NOT bad FPS'es but a lot of people didn't generate their own opinion when they played them.

Anyway, comparing Halo to Bioshock is comparing an apple to an orange. Both are FPSes, true, but they both attempt to do completely different things. I can't establish that one is better then the other, but I personally think Bioshock is better. Its all personal preference at this point.

CoD4 is way better then any halo game.

The story is pretty much the same thing every time.

The graphics are aweful!!! Look at CoD4, GoW and Bioshock, and this is like.......bad looking.

The story can't compare to games like Bioshock or CoD4.

I get what your saying. I don't play halo just for multiplayer infact everyone I play is cheap all the time for example screen peeking and hiding with a sniper rifle or rocket launcher and the story is not week you just don't play enough to understand it plus they overrate it because it's a really awsome game series. And I think Halo is a lot better than other fps out there.

Frankly, I was disappointed by Halo 3. I had very low expectations, as I only enjoyed the first Halo because of multiplayer, and the Halo series in general is overrated and not that good compared to other FPS's out there. I played through co-op with my cousin, and we literally beat it in one sitting. A long sitting, but one none the less. Also, I found the story to be weak.

Honestly I found a few mistakes in that I'll just make a list

1. Cortana is not the only female, there are female marines, and the woman in charge of you in the beggining is a woman, I dont know how you missed that

2. The covenant dont worship the halos, they think they will turn them into gods

Halo 3 is one of greatest games ever made. It's game play combined with lush and vibrant story make it a game beyond compare. Then there is the multiplayer which keeps the game alive long after you've beaten the Campaign many times. Whether just getting together with friends via Custom Match and just having fun or getting serious and going Live Halo 3 shines on. I must profess I've been playing the Halo games since Xbox came out and ever since Halo: CE I've been hooked. But of the trilogy, Halo 3 I must say has not only best graphics, but also the best developed story. The story is so compelling and so well written that it makes you wonder why The Halo Movies is taking so long to make. In conclusion I'm still playing Halo 3 and I imagine I still be playing it for many years to come
