I totally agree with you Kaikuro. For me the Harry Potter video games haven’t been the best and I personally don’t like them. But I absolutely love the Harry Potter books. It all depends on whether you know this is fantasy or not. If you or your child can’t tell the difference between fantasy and what’s real then you shouldn’t be doing anything Harry Potter (reading, playing, watching).

In response to David, Harry Potter is REALLY controversial. Some christians don't have too much of a problem with it and some do. So I think the review was comprimising on the two sides of the spectrum. Me, I'm on neither side. I don't care. I have christian friends who like Harry Potter and I have christian friends who despise it. Harry Potter is fantasy, though the witchcraft themes are evident, its more about friendship then anything else. Then, of course, it is 'witchcraft', and that is something God tells us to stay far away from. So I'm on neither side and I don't really care about harry potter.
So yes, it is good to say this game should be given a 0 out of 5. I think its also okay to say it is a 2 or 3 out of 5.
Just throwing that out...

I apologize in advance for my tone of voice but to me I don't think that the Christian Rating: 2 of 5 (poor) is correct. To me it would be more fit 0 of 5 in the worst occasion 1of 5. Because I believe that Christians should stay away from games, stories and movies of that type. I speak like this for this is a christian web site where people come to see what the ratings are for christians. So I don't think that the game should even be mentioned there are a lot of other games to get reviews upon than this.

"“I highly recommend reading the book or watching the movie (or both) before playing OotP, due to the fact that the plot isn’t explained all that well.”
I don’t recommend either of those."

Same here.
I like the more neutral way this article was written, although I'm not at all pro-HP, it's always good to look at things from a neutral stand-point. Helps you learn things.

I'm not recommending the books or movies (although I have no problem with them and enjoy them a lot). But if you're going to play the game, then you obviously don't have a problem with HP, and you should read or watch it.
