The same negative things are in games like World of Warcraft. There are multiple gods in this game and they do have shrines where you can kneel and get a blessing (gives you a bonus to your attributes or skills, etc). And as in other games, there are magic characters...some can summon, some use elements, etc.

I've played this game for quite a while and enjoyed it quite a bit.

Also, as with WoW and other mmos, you need to be careful so that the game does not take you over and you're spending every waking moment you can on it.

hello, I play guide wars my name is thy dragonslayer and i have to say that the game its self is not bad but some of the players think its funny to put on unmodest clothing and dance together. The game has a senser on it so you cant curse but some players have subsistuded words or misspellings so they dont get caught. Other than that I would recomend the gaem as a subsitute for WOW or just a fun rpg!!!

It got a "Strong Caution" due to it's content. It contains heavy amounts of magic, occult references, and while the game itself has little language, the online community is not so careful.

As for the Necromancers, "necromancy" in itself is "a method of divination through alleged communication with the dead; black art." or " magic in general, esp. that practiced by a witch or sorcerer; sorcery; witchcraft; conjuration.". Most of the Necromancer's spells involve invoking the dead to fight, regenerate, or otherwise impair one's enemies, and the names of their spells coincide with that.

There are also several fictional religions alluded to in the game, one of which follows the deity Grenth, a Guild Wars equivalent of Satan. (This is the belief system the Necromancers follow, as a matter of fact...)

As for violence, the animations themselves are not overtly grotesque, but several spells/enchantments/moves involve not-so-nice things.

Not to mention that most character models can be stripped down to their necessities, and this happens quite frequently in towns/cities.

From a Christian point of view, this game is well deserving of a "Strong Caution" rating.

I strongly disagree with the "strong caution" rating. In the amount of time I have played the game, I have seen almost no language, very little harsh violence, and not that much cleavage. The morals are very good, as your quests involve helping people in every possible way. I don't have a necromancer, but even what I've seen of them isn't very bad. Their spells simply make enemies lose health or attributes. And the game doesn't even refer to magic, it's "energy".
I think this is one of the cleanest MMO's out there. Highly recommended.
