Luckily there's some shorter ones, like star fox 64.
But there are plenty of people who could use this review, we appreciate your idea, but like link said, our reviewers can't just get every game that comes out. SD even said so, I forgot where, it's been so long. But he said it somewhere ;)

Oh, and why there are new movie reviews but not new game reviews? Movie = $10 movie ticket, 2 hours. Game = $60, up to 50 hours long.

@Franky:
Thanks.
One of the reasons we don't have all that many reviews for newer games is simply because no one reviews them. A lot of our volunteer reviewers don't have the newest systems or enough cash for the newest $60 games, so instead they review older games that they have.
But hopefully that won't be going on for forever, because I've been taking time to try and review as many newer games as possible (like Crysis, Left 4 Dead, Dead Space, etc). Patience!

@Franky: I went through the entire MGS series last year and am going through the Resident Evil series and plan on playing the Silent Hill series. So your point is not 100% accurate ;)

Why don't you help out writing reviews based on new games? The site is always looking for new reviews :)

@Colonel Link:
I just want to say that I highly admire you contradicting my point in a civil and respectful way, rather than just flaming me out.
Your point is a good one, though it still doesn't detract from the fact that this website does not spend its focus on all of the newer games that people may be looking forward to, instead relying on mostly older games.
The sister site, Christian Spotlight, has the most up to date movies. Why not this one?

@Franky:
Contrary to what you believe, not everyone plays the newest games. There are plenty of people who play Crysis and Counter Strike 1.6. How recent a game is has nothing to do with how enjoyable or popular it can be. I spent a long time looking for a review of this game before I played it 2 weeks ago, and found none. The point of this site is to review ALL types of games, not just the new ones. Otherwise we'd end up like pluggedinonline.
