Seriously you guys are way too sensitive about this stuff. If you really would keep your children from playin such a harmless game then i suppose they don't get tv or computer privilages either. I mean come on its just a game. A game about farming and slaying monsters. I'm sure there will be steady flow of serial killers and rapists loose for years to come after the release of this game. Please.... As far as religion and your children go here's a new idea, teach them the difference between reality and fantasy. If your children are seaching for religious views in video games then this just tells me that they may not be getting it else where. The world we live in is full of horrible people, hate and violence but we can't sheild ourselves or our children from it without shutting ourselves off completely from the world. Whatever negativity you fear from this game rest assured that you can turn on the tv and flip to a random channel at any given time and find something ten times worse than Rune Factory Frontier. If you feel that your children shouldn't be allowed to play this game then the best thing for you to do is to pack up the wii and get rid of it.

SeriousGamer I know everyone doesn't see things as i do that's why it is my opinion. I am very grateful for people like you allowing me to express my feelings. I am very much thankful for you and others taking the time to try to help give info as you do. I am looking forward to hearing your reviews of future games. Until then God Bless and keep up the good work.

@<a href="#comment-3584" rel="nofollow">littlenanna</a>:

I've done my best to write it from a Christian perspective as well with what little I've seen in this game. I don't have as much time as I once did to go though games entirely, though I'd like to. But I did cover what I'd seen and heard, the "facts" as you put it.

You make some good points. As I said in my review, if you feel this game is wrong, then I wouldn't play it. I myself see nothing wrong with this as it's all in fantasy.

The P***** off Word referenced above is spoken by brodik.(not sure about the spelling). I saw this scene.
I have a problem with all the magic spells. Also might
confuse children that there is nothing wrong with magic
(aka..harry potter type thing) Rev. 9:20, 21. It too closely puts religion and magic in the same category. The mother (stella) of the church is always at the bar drunk ever night. Spoken in a scene with the bar owner (Rita). The whole game focuses on keeping the
spirits happy and in right order. If not your crops die,
the whale island will fall from the sky, evil in the castle
in the sky, will take over, one place talks about the whale as being your creator--or makes a reference to
the father. It says to the effect: I guess i am the one who created you. While the game seems very harmless on the surface, I'm afraid for young children
and even some Christians who don't have a full under-
standing of the Bible that it could cause serious spiritual conflict of interest. ( It could easily mix up right
from wrong for some). Yes, i am a minister. I have 3
young grandchildren so i try to review a lot of these
type things, games, movies etc. for the sake of parents
who may not have time to check out what their children
are always doing. I don't tell them what to do but i do
believe they need to know the facts, the rest is up to
their own consciences. This review is written totally
from a christian perspective. Accept or reject it as you will. Above scriptures taken from King James Version
New Testament. There are a lot more scriptures to support this all through the Old and New Testament.
May God enlighten all who reads His Word.

@<a href="#comment-3186" rel="nofollow">Keggerz</a>:

I'll give you the first, but she didn't show "a bit" of stomach. It was from the bottom of her chest down to her waste, so I'd say that qualifies as scantily clad.

My point is, is it really necessary to have RPG girls show that much skin?
