It's hard to say. I mean The Sims series in general is geared more towards the mature, despite the T rating. The Sims lets you play with life, and you can play any way you want, and that's where the problem is. You can have your Sims get married, start families, and live a very wholesome life. But on the other hand, you have your Sims engage in less-than-wholesome activities.

Since you're having to ask for it for Christmas, I can only assume that you are young. If that's the case, then I wouldn't recommend this game to you.

So far, the My Sims sounds okay, and I really want it, but I'm only 12. Is it appropriate for me to play this game, or should I wait?

hello blogger, i was reading your posts on The Sims 3 | Guide 2 Games and i actually liked them. 1 thing that i observed while browsing throughout your blog that a few of the links are not working and giving error. this makes the reading experience a bit sour. you've got a good blog and i would request you to update the hyperlinks so that fascinated folks can get all the information they intend to have. Btw are you on twitter?? i would genuinely like to follow you and also get updates on your blog.

You can. the grim reaper shows up whenever your sim dies but you could simply turn aging off and age your sims manually with a cake. All the grim reaper does though is show up, berry your sim, and leave.

A sims ghost can haunt your house hold if you leave it's gravestone/urn on the lot. You can simply delete its, keep it in your inventory, or put the grave in the grave yard where it will haunt the cemetery at night with the ghosts that are already there. The cemetery is okay to go to during the day, but a few ghosts will come out at night.
