This is side-scrolling platformer game in which players control the title character as he explores levels, collects gems, and solves puzzles, while trying to save the state of dreams. Enemies can be grabbed and tossed at one another, or in certain areas, used to traverse distances or break obstacles. Bosses howl in pain and fall to the ground when defeated. During one sequence, a villain destroys a character's house with a giant laser beam, resulting in an explosion and the dramatic death of the character. An older character is depicted with a pipe in his mouth and a tobacco-like substance in the bowl.
