I honestly don't like the sing his world with lyrics anyway, the instrumental pulls out the awesomeness of the song, but the lyrics drag the music behind...

I think you're right about the language in that song being restricted to the official soundtrack.

In the theme for Sonic '06, "HIS WORLD", there's a line that says "kickin' *** fast", but in-game it only says "kickin' THAT fast",
so I could picture a similar situation for knuckles' theme (or whoever's theme it is).

There weren't. What I meant was that supposedly, accepting a name generated by the fortune teller would make your chao level up faster... or something like that.

A very fun game, with really enjoyable two-player modes, but like the reviewer said, it's not completely without its issues.
Rouge is not a good addition to the series. Her outfit is pretty low-cut, which is more noticeable in the artwork than the actual game, and her chest is pretty exaggerated, and sometimes does jiggle. Knuckles' rap for one of the levels does reference her (the reviewer quoted it...I'll feel dirty if I have to type it out), but whether or not kids will notice it (or mistake it for "sassy") I'm not sure. Also the usage of d*** in his theme song completely flew over my head. I was shocked when I read online lyrics later, and even when playing it on the music player in the menu, I couldn't pick it out. I think maybe it's only in an official soundtrack or something. Either way, these things are completely unnecessary, and were not appreciated.
I think I was 14 when I first played this game, and I did recognize what Amy said about people being "basically good" as wrong, as "SonicFan" pointed out. Still definitely a good idea to explain the truth about that to kids.
The "lawlessness" in the game is somewhat unfortunate. The 'good guys' are careful to do it with as little damage as possible and only for the 'greater good' of saving the planet. Obviously the bad guys are not as careful. (See the spoiler in the review...I agree)
Also, violence in this game is restricted to fighting robots and monsters only. There are a few ghosts in this game, but they're not really connected to the story. "Chaos Emeralds" are there, as always. They are magical "power ups", but this is presented in a very generic sci-fi and vague way, and there isn't any worshiping or occult aspect to them.
Basically, this game is very obviously fictional, but it is always a good idea to supervise young players and point out inaccuracies.
