Considering that typing in "Zeus" gets you the exact same character, it's pretty obvious they went with "god" as opposed to "God." That is, they're not using any specific god there. Unless, of course, you have a need to find fault with the game, in which case I suppose you could claim that they're equating Zeus and God. But seriously, it's not particularly irreverent. They went out of their way to avoid offending people, do you really think they're going to make Christians the one glaring exception? ...Though typing in "god" and then "atheist" gets some very humorous results...
