This game is clean, fun and long (more than 30 hours even to finish only two-thirds of it). Although the spell casting is not godly, it is useless and a waste of time. Therefore, it is unnecessary to visit any more than three fortune-tellers in the entire game. Even then, none of the necessary beings cast any spells on you. Therefore, I rate this game as clean and entertaining for all ages.

''It was the fortune tellers and the spell caster that caused me to rate this game some issues''

It should be mentioned, that you don't have to go to the spell caster, and only one time to one of the fortune tellers ;)

I would agree with you that Mario doesn't pray to them, but the pose he takes when he uses a Star Spirit ability (his eyes closed and his hands folded together) could be interpreted as prayer. It was the fortune tellers and the spell caster that caused me to rate this game some issues. Otherwise, I might have rated it squeaky clean.

This is a great game though.
