The humor and art direction are pretty cute and funny. But as always, it frequently references the 'power of the gods' and 'spirits', etc. It's a major story element. Out of all Zelda games though, this is probably the least offensive in that regard. Because of the spiritual content, I'd be hesitant to recommend it with a good conscience, but if you are planning on letting kids play Zelda games, I'd go with this one first and supervise and explain carefully.
