Rating: some-issues

Violence: Energy and laser beams, explosions, blood, missiles, gun fire, mechanized arms with grappling claws, and dragons.

Spirituality: Evolution. Artificial creation of life.

Language: D--- and h--- are shown in the subtitles.

Adult Content: Polygamy, some risque attire, and strong melancholy.

Misc. Negative: A boy curses and yells back at his father. A creature and her young are brutally shot down. The option to play as the enemy.

Positive: Friendship and family are encouraged. The main character and her companions show sacrifice in the face of peril.

Strong Violence

Combat against non-human enemies. Enemies may be cut in half, one instance of combat against another human, blood is shown when player character is struck, player character can be impaled by traps, a bloodless battle scene is shown. One character coughs up blood

Fantasy Magic

Plot involves substance and items that can control time. At certain points, the player character sees visions of the future. Final boss uses fantasy-style magic.

Sexual Content

Main female character wears bikini-top style outfit. Some female looking enemies wear revealing outfits. Cutscene involves a bath scene between two characters and hints at sexual intercourse. A kiss is also seen.

Violence: Sims can get into cartoon-like fights.

Sexual Content: Sims can have romantic relationships with Sims of opposite & same gender, have sex under the covers. Sims are shown naked (but blurred out in private spots) when they bath and can go around in their underwear and wear bikinis.

Spiritual Overtones:When you create a Sim you have to choose a astrological sign that determines your Sims personality potential love interests. Grim reaper comes to take Sim away when they die. Sims can become an alien and in expansions Sims can become zombies, vampires, and werewolves, and witch/warlock (with spellcasting)

Other: Sims can be abducted by aliens, Sims are shown as materialistic.

Rating: strong-caution

Violence: Hundreds of enemies are killed, but not very much blood is shown.

Language: The F-Word and other expletives are used dozens of times throughout the game, and I don’t think it makes anything more “realistic”.

Sexual Content: Numerous sexual references, innuendos, you hear the sounds of people having sex numerous times, a series of pictures and sounds show the beginning of a sex scene.

Moral Issues: The whole game is very dark and gives a message of hopelessness. None of the characters are moral people, and the games only themes are revenge, hate, passion, greed, and murder.

Sexual Content: Some women wear comic book style tight & skimpy costumes.

Spiritual Content: Characters are sent to a hellish underworld with demons and what possibly could be the devil, one instance of a pentagram, playable character Ghostrider is part demon, the Norse god Thor is playable and Loki is a villian.

In a day in which shooting games are the norm, I find it quite refreshing to be able to play a slow paced game in which suspense surrounds both the story and the action. “Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow” is just that. Featuring spies, diverse locales, and tons of gadgets, “Pandora Tomorrow” is bound to please anyone who is remotely interested in modern military espionage or stealth games.

You duck in cover while trying to dodge a hail of enemy fire. Then, you rise and attack enemies with your high-tech plasma rifle. They go down easily, and then more bad guys appear. Guns blazing, you run out into the open and stylishly defeat your adversaries. Just as it seems the coast is clear, you get shot from behind by… a monkey? This and other outrageous situations occur in TimeSplitters 2, a first-person shooter known for its frantic gameplay, strange humor, and loads of extra features.

“Splinter Cell: Double Agent” is the fourth installment of the “Splinter Cell” series, a popular franchise of stealth/action games. Although the Xbox version shares the same title as the 360 version, the two have differences in both gameplay and story events. The one being reviewed here is the Xbox version. “Double Agent” revolves around black ops agent Sam Fisher and his infiltration of a domestic terror group called the JBA (John Brown’s Army). After Sam’s daughter is killed in a car accident, he feels he has nothing left to lose. In response to this tragedy, he teams up with his long time partner in the NSA, Irving Lambert, to undertake the most dangerous mission of his life: to stop the JBA by becoming a double agent.

The “Sonic the Hedgehog” series is best known for serving up high-speed adventure games presented with flair that has enticed gamers for over the past decade. “Sonic” has long rivaled “Mario” in terms of popularity since its original release in 1991. In 1999, Sonic Team produced “Sonic Adventure,” which marked the series’ transition to 3D. While some criticized “Sonic Adventure,” others saw it as an evolution to the franchise.
