Okami, a classic PS2 title brought to the Wii, is essentially a Japanese painting brought to life as a video game. There are pink cherry blossoms, majestic landscapes, and mythical wolves that bear crimson stripes. Combining a unique art style, exploration, and a boatload of Japanese mythology, Okami is different from almost any adventure game before it.

“Ghost Recon” by Ubisoft is not like most first-person shooters. Instead of scuttling down narrow corridors and unloading hails of bullets, the goal of the game is to advance slowly across large enemy battlefields via reconnaissance techniques, thus the title “Ghost Recon.” This slow-paced and highly realistic shooter is meant for older players, not just for the blood and gore but also for its unforgiving difficulty and the critical thinking involved.

In the year 2008, a group of Russian Ultranationalists seeks to restore the old Soviet Union. As the radicals attempt to retake Georgia, Latvia, and other former territories, war breaks out and the Ghosts are sent in.

What sets Wild ARMS role-playing games apart from the rest is its setting in the Wild West, complete with cowboys, six-shooters, and nasty outlaws. Occasionally, the makers of Wild ARMS have tampered with the cowboy theme, injecting various levels of fantasy and science fiction, and this is true of Wild ARMS XF, but this time they've also tampered with the way the game plays. Instead of a traditional RPG, we have a Wild ARMS tactical strategy game, similar to Fire Emblem or Final Fantasy Tactics. The end result is an innovative Tactical Role-Playing Game(TRPG) whose innovations both help and hurt it. The content is mild enough to earn it an E10+ rating from the Electronic Software Ratings Board, but I still wouldn't recommend it to first time TRPG players or kids because XF is more frustrating than most TRPGs. Wild ARMS XF is best suited for TRPG veterans who are looking for something a little different in their favorite genre.

Special thanks to boyward for help in editing this review.

The Dark Hour. Many people think that there are only 24 hours in a day, but they are wrong. At the stroke of midnight the Dark Hour appears. The lucky ones spend this time transformed into coffins. Any caught outside their coffins during the Dark Hour encounter the shadows-- dark faceless creatures that suck the life from them and turn them into "The Lost", an apathetic, almost zombie-like state. This is the premise of Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3 developed by Atlus.

The Shin Megami Tensei games are fairly new to American Audiences. Due to the game’s mature subject matter, most of them had trouble making their way overseas. The first game we were treated to was Nocturne, the third game in the main series. Reviews were mostly positive, yet Nocturne was criticized for its unrelenting difficulty. Atlus thus decided to ease new players until the series with a *somewhat* easier spin-off: Digital Devil Saga. They released the game in two separate volumes. Since both games are essentially part of the same story, they will be regarded as one in this review.

There are very few games out there like Uncharted. It's pretty much Indiana Jones on steroids. Some may say its just a Tomb Raider clone but they in fact are wrong...it's better! Unlike Tomb Raider it's more action oriented with a couple of actually challenging puzzles ( you get a diary of your ancestor's which helps with the puzzles) which helps the easily frustrated (like me). So let's get started.
