Mario Kart DS is the fifth installment in one of the longest running racing series. In Mario Kart, it's not so much a realistic racing game, but rather, a racing game that everyone can play and have fun with. Multiplayer is highly recommended with the friendly and fun atmosphere of go-kart racing. Even though you might already own every single Mario Kart leading up to this one, there is still enough of a reason to buy the DS version as if you would be just getting into the Mario Kart series.

The Ace Combat series is definitely the best game within all air combat simulators. It's also one of the most underplayed series. Personally, I think they are better than the "blockbuster" titles like Halo and Guitar Hero. They mix an awesome blend of story, game play, and epic battles.

So, if you haven't heard of Super Smash Bros. Brawl, you've probably been living under a rock somewhere in the wilds of Africa. Simply put- this is unarguably the most anticipated game this year.
For those of you not in the loop, Brawl is the third installment in the Super Smash Bros. series. Basically, the games are devoted to uniting Nintendo's most iconic and historically significant characters for a fighting game where they can brawl it out to see who's the best. Brawl takes that to the next level. But with its predecessor, Super Smash Bros. Melee, being considered one of the greatest games of all time, can Brawl live up to its own hype?
For the sake of those who are still waiting on their copy (I feel for you), I will avoid spoilers in this review.

Sometimes the best games come with the smallest hype. Indie developer Dylan Fitterer has developed an amazing game in AudioSurf. Using one of 14 available characters, you guide your vehicle through an entirely unique "race track" (which is made by your music) and try to make "clusters" of colored cars. Sound interesting? It is...

AudioSurf is a Casual/Puzzle/Racing game and is completely music-based. The point of the game is to race your character down a track and gather colored "cars". You can gather up to 21 cars at a time, but when three or more of any of the same color touch they disappear and you get points. You can work towards a High Score, or unlocking one of AudioSurf's 11 in-game achievements.

Developed by Nintendo and Retro studio and the last in the trilogy, Metroid Prime 3: Corruption stars everyone’s favorite bounty hunter Samus on her quest to save the federation Aurora units and rid the galaxy of the menace of Phazon and Dark Samus once and for all!

Unlike the past two games, the game is separated into various planets that you must fly to in your ship. Each planet has various objectives you must complete, different enemies you have to get past and of course bosses. Backtracking is made easier as you can also fly your ship to various parts of each planet. While the planets are each unique and different, the sectioning off of areas takes out much of the exploration aspects of the past two games.

Throughout the game you will be guided by a Federation Aurora unit, which will help you on your quest and tell you where to go next. Purists might argue that this takes some of the fun of finding out where to travel. The game also has the last minute gather quest of the previous two games, but thankfully you can collect most of the parts you need as you go through the game. Also, there is a token and voucher system that allows you to unlock artwork, music and various trinkets for you ship. To unlock everything you must to trade vouchers with friends in your friend code list. This achieved by killing bosses, enemies and doing various objectives. It’s a bit like achievements for the Xbox 360.

Portal™ is a new single player game from Valve. Set in the mysterious Aperture Science Laboratories, Portal has been called one of the most innovative new games on the horizon and will offer gamers hours of unique gameplay.

The game is designed to change the way players approach, manipulate, and surmise the possibilities in a given environment; similar to how Half-Life® 2's Gravity Gun innovated new ways to leverage an object in any given situation.

Players must solve physical puzzles and challenges by opening portals to maneuvering objects, and themselves, through space.
