May or may not apply to Rock Band 2 on the PS3. Most gameplay aspects do not apply to Rock Band 2 on the Playstation 2 or Wii. Made by the original developers of Guitar Hero, (the video game that made plastic guitars a staple of living rooms everywhere), the first Rock Band broke ground in the music video game field. Rock Band added two new dimensions: a microphone, and drums. It was a huge hit, but since Guitar Hero was such a big name, Rock Band did not outsell its main competitor, Guitar Hero III. Now we have Rock Band 2, a repackaging of the original with some minor upgrades and some new and (for the most part) improved instruments.

Bully Scholarship Edition for the Wii is a remake of the original Bully game. Both were created by Rockstar games who made Grand Theft Auto (GTA) series. Like GTA, Bully is a sandbox game in which players are invited to explore the game world and ignore many of the games objectives if they like. The game centers on Jimmy Hopkins, abandoned at Bullworth Academy as his mother leaves with her new husband on a very long honeymoon cruise. Jimmy has been kicked out of many schools, but Bullworth proves rougher than the rest. He quickly finds that Bullworth lives up to its Latin motto, Canis Canem Edit (Dog Eat Dog) and decides he needs to bring “law and order” to Bullworth.

Developed by The Behemoth, creators of Alien Hominid HD, Castle Crashers is a beat-em-up RPG for the Xbox Live Arcade for 1-4 players online or offline. The game places the player in the shoes of one of four knights, fire, poison, lighting and ice. After the evil nameless wizard and his barbarian hordes kidnap the four princesses and take the magic crystal for their own, the knights with the king in tow set off to save the princesses and reclaim the magic crystal.

Like its predecessors, Wario Ware: Smooth Moves is a collection of micro-games based on simple actions which usually last fewer than five seconds each. The micro-games are played in rapid succession, presenting the player with the gameplay screen and a short instruction hinting at the action that must be accomplished. Once the micro-game is complete, the next one begins. If a player makes four mistakes over the course of one set of micro-games, they usually must start over from the beginning of the set.
